This year, SR 2-3S will be offering its Winter Leadership Encampment, incorporating the fundamentals of leadership in a compact, useful form designed expressly for the needs of the lodges of SR 2-3S. What does that really mean? Your section is striving to do its very best to HELP YOU improve your lodge. The section leadership feels a major aspect of that is providing information and leadership skills you can use directly with your lodge in the programs you are participating in, right now! Learn how to increase chapter meeting attendance. Find out what everyone’s talking about with that “extended Elangomat program” thing.
This is all about closing the gaps between what you should know and don’t know. During these two weekends (February 5-7 at McGimsey Scout Park, San Antonio, TX and March 5-7 at Camp Strake, Conroe TX) you will have the chance to ask ANYTHING you’ve wondered about the Order of the Arrow. Discussion sessions will be held in the afternoon with some of the most experienced Arrowmen in Texas.
But don’t come expecting a day full of lectures. Lessons include encampment challenges, interactive activities, small discussion groups (four areas to choose from). How will all of this tie together to make your lodge better? There’s only one way to find out! Come learn how you can get more out of the OA and better serve those who chose you at SR-2-3 South’s Winter Leadership Encampments. “Those who chose you need you!”
