He has received the Founder\'s Award, is an Eagle Scout with nine Palms and a recipient of the William T. Hornaday Conservation Badge. He has attended Conclaves, NOACs, NLS, ArrowCorps5, OA Wilderness Voyage, Rayado, and the 2010 National Jamboree on OA Service Corps. He attends Carleton College, where he is pursuing a degree in Environmental Public Policy.
